Final Blog Entry

Monday, May 01, 2017 5:00 AM   Write a short story (at least 5 paragraphs) about what happened after Ralph looked up and saw the naval officer.   What happened?   Did they go back home?   Are their parents alive?   Is Jack punished?   Use your imagination, but remember to write it as a short story NOT as an essay.       I came upon the beach I fell of exhaustion, luckily a naval officer rescued me from a near death experience. Whew, it is good to be alive. We were on the ship going home. The Captain fed us some chicken and broccoli. It was so good.   When I had gotten to the US my mom heard we were rescued. Chapter 12

Dear Diary,       I was on the run. Jack for sure was going to kill me this time. He stole Piggy's glasses, they killed Simon, Roger killed Piggy, his tribe captured the twins and tortured them until they sided with him. I'm all alone.      I came upon the Sows head. Angrily I knocked it down and seen the stake that It was impaled on. I too for defense against Jacks tribe if I had ever come across them. That night, I snuck down to the camp at the Castle Rock and founds Sam and Eric guarding the entrance. They gave me food but refused to join me because they know Jack will kill them for sure. They did tell me that Jack planned to send the entire tribe after me the next day.      I hid I a thicket near the camp that night to stay close but kept silent. Dear Diary,        The next morning I met with Piggy beach. We were bruised from what had happen previously with us and Jack. We were both bruised and sore and feel awkward and deeply ashamed from what had happened.       At the Castle Rock, Jack rules with absolute power. Boys are punished for no   reason. He had recently tied up and beat a boy named Wilfred. He believes that Simon really was the beast, and that the beast is capable of assuming any disguise. I wonder what he is on?       Once again, as we slept we were attacked by a group of Jack’s hunters. They had gotten me good this time. We don't know why we were attacked, but hunters badly beat Ralph and his companions, who do not even know why they were assaulted, for they gladly would have shared the fire with the other boys.       Dear Diary,      The next morning, me and the others that remained with me tried to light the fire but it was too cold. It is hopeless without Piggy’s glasses. Plus, Piggy can barely see. I must get them back from Jack and his crew.         I took the conch shell to the Castle Rock, hoping that it would remind Jack’s followers of who was in charge. When we had gotten there we were welcomed by rocks. Within a minute jack was out here face standing 3 feet ahead of me. He told us to leave and I said I'm not leaving without Piggy's glasses.   He then attacks me and were fighting. Jack ordered his hunters to capture Sam and Eric and tie them up. This is what really pissed me off because I did not come here to fight and be capture, so I lunged straight at jack.       We fought again, and piggy was trying to get us all under control. Dear Diary,      Piggy and I went to the feast so that we would be able to keep some control over events. At the feast, the boys were enjoying themselves laughing and eating the roasted pig. Jack was sitting in a big chair like a throne languidly issuing commands. I don’t know what is going on with Jack. Was he really that jealous of me.        Jack extended an invitation to all of the remaining followers to join his tribe. Most of them accepted, my attempts of trying to persuade them to stay was a failure. What I the world is going through his mind right now?      I t started to rain, an idea came up in mind. Chapter 8

Dear Diary,     The next morning, we brought news about the monster to the other children on the island. The boys were   in a state of confusion as they had begun to drift towards the platform where we held meetings.     Piggy who was not on the mountain the night before was baffled by what we had to say about the monster. The night we had went up we came back down within a minute of seeing the beast. It had sharp claws and teeth big eyes and wings. It scared half of us to death. You had to be there to feel its eerie presence.      Jack goes from telling the others that there is a beast on the mountain to calling me a coward. He is envious of me leading the children and attempts to have me impeached. The other boys refuse to vote me out of power. In doing so, Jack stormed away from the group.
